Academic Integrity

• Revises phrasing, sentence architecture, rhythm and mechanical repetition.
• Refines writing in English as an additional language without erasing the writer's perspective.

• Leaves the writer's argument, structure of reasoning and authorship intact.

• The platform does not write essays, theses, applications or analysis for you.
• The platform does not invent facts, quotations, sources, citations or examples.
• The platform does not promise that any detector will return a particular result.
• The platform is not a way to present someone else's work, or generated work, as your own.

Institutions define their own rules on editing assistance, proofreading and permitted tools. Those rules vary by university, department, programme and individual assignment. Before using Lev-Al Prose on assessed work, confirm that editing assistance is permitted and disclose it where disclosure is required. You remain responsible for the content and the accuracy of everything you submit.

• Meeting a prescribed word count, or shortening a passage, without losing protected meaning.

Using Lev-Al Prose to produce work you did not write, to invent data, quotations, sources or citations, or to disguise another person's work as your own is not permitted. The editor refuses to add content that was not in your passage, and revisions that introduce new claims are flagged rather than certified.

• Faithful (default): refines the prose and lets the length change naturally. Already-good writing may stay largely unchanged. Nothing is padded.
• Exact Length (optional): aims for an exact word count. If that would require padding, invention or loss of meaning, the result is marked Review required.
• Tighten: shortens the passage without deleting protected details, caveats, citations or evidence. An impossible target is marked Review required.

MeaningLock checks whether protected details — figures, dates, quotations, citations, names and phrases you lock — and key meaning signals such as negation and certainty survived the edit. Each item is reported as Preserved, Review required or Failed. The checks confirm preservation only; they do not establish that your source information is true, and automatic detection can miss details or flag faithful rephrasing. Review every revision yourself.

AI-detection scores are probabilistic and vary by detector, version, language and passage length. Lev-Al Prose improves naturalness and preserves authorship; the platform cannot guarantee a particular score or replace an institution's academic-integrity requirements.

Submitted and edited text are not stored in the application database or application-authored logs. End-to-end non-retention across the gateway and external model providers has not been independently verified; see our Privacy and Data Handling policy. We keep account details, plan status, numeric usage records and support messages you choose to send.
